What Is It With Dems & Wiki's?

What's going on with the Democrat party and Wikipedia lately? It almost seems as if they've all received the same memo...change any wiki entry that portrays info that makes your guy look bad.

By now we've all heard of the mini-scandal involving our very own Brian Schweitzer and his spokes-chick Sarah Furey Elliott. It seems that Montana's version of Leni Riefenstahl thought it perfectly acceptable to edit Schweitzer's wiki page to help portray, in her words, "accurate information about the governor and make sure his record is fairly reflected." This was despite the fact the information contained on the original wiki entry was simply a transcript of the governor's own words! Sieg heil baby!

Fast forward to this evening. As you may have heard, or will be hearing in the coming hours or days, John McCain has a new ad running on television that calls into question the ties that bind Barack Obama to former Fannie-Mae CEO Franklin Raines.

In yet another example of Obama throwing folks who provide, how shall we say, an 'inconvenient truth' about The One™ under the bus, he's now trying to claim he has no ties to Mr. Raines. It's not as if a scumbag like Obama doesn't have a history of surrounding himself with other low-life's. Whether it be unrepentant domestic terrorists like Bill Ayers and Beradine Dohrn, convicted felon Tony Rezko, or hate-monger racists like Jeremiah Wright (calling him a Reverend just sounds dirty) Obama has a history of vile associations he's tried to distance himself from since trying to appear "mainstream" to a majority of Americans.

The man at the center of Obama's latest pack of lies is Franklin Raines, who seems to not have been informed that he doesn't know Barack Obama. According to the Washington Post, Raines was taking telephone calls from Obama only a few months ago.

In the four years since he stepped down as Fannie Mae's chief executive under the shadow of a $6.3 billion accounting scandal, Franklin D. Raines has been quietly constructing a new life for himself. He has shaved eight points off his golf handicap, taken a corner office in Steve Case's D.C. conglomeration of finance, entertainment and health-care companies and more recently, taken calls from Barack Obama's presidential campaign seeking his advice on mortgage and housing policy matters.

Following the Fannie-Mae disaster, which happened at the hands of a crook like Raines, the Post had this to add on their relationship.

In the current crisis, their biggest backers have been Democrats such as Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher J. Dodd (Conn.) and House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (Mass.). Two members of Mr. Obama's political circle, James A. Johnson and Franklin D. Raines, are former chief executives of Fannie Mae.

That's change™ we can believe in alright! Little did we know the "change™" they were talking about involved webpages or Wikipedia entries.

In a move reminiscent of Ms. Riefenstahl Elliott, the spittle-flecked Baracktards on the left are now busily scrubbing Raines' Wiki page of any reference to Captain Bullshit, lest it get in the way of the dog and pony show that passes for his campaign. Who wants to the over/under on James Johnson's Wiki page, or whether he'll play a starring role in McCain's next campaign commercial?

What goes around comes around. If I were Michelle or Joe Biden I'd be concerned I might find myself under the tires of the next CTA bus coming down Obama Boulevard. After all, you can't be too careful when you're involved with a Chicago machine politician seeking change ™ his first real full-time job.

Great post. Dems hide from the truth to protect their hollow shell of a party.

The Arrow And The Song

(1)

I shot an arrow in the air,

It fell to earth, I knew not where; ;

For so swiftly it flew, the sight

Could not follow it in its flight.

(2)

I breathed a song into the air,

It fell to earth, I knew not where;

For who has sight so keen and strong,

That it can follow the flight of song?

(3)

Long, long afterward, in an oak

I found the arrow still unbroke;

And the song, from beginning to end, ,

I found again in the heart of a friend. 。
